Axe with Wooden Handle EvoTools +Plus®

This type of axe is designed for splitting logs or trunk leftovers.
The metal head is made of high-quality #55 carbon steel, heat-treated (hardening + tempering) on a section of 1/3 from the cutting edge towards the handle eye, for much greater wear resistance.
For increased safety during use, the handle is fixed in the metal head with two wedges: a wooden one that forces the handle wood towards the edges, and a second cylindrical metal wedge that is driven over the first and the handle wood to secure them.
With low weight but a long handle, the material can be cut with a blow that uses the force of inertia.
The handle is made of hardwood, treated and coated with a clear varnish that resists both impact stress and moisture.
